You should put some stock in it. The best company I ever workedfor has almost all positive reviews online. They are no longer around, but it was a great place to work and the reviews reflected it.

People rarely leave good reviews for things. For example, every hotel and apartment complex on earth has horrid reviews.
So these might just be disgruntled ex employees.
That said, look at the actions of current employees in your interview. See how they interact with each other and with the boss. If they're not being very responsive, might be a red flag.
Nothing wrong with asking people how they like working there.
Generally, people aren't going to lie. They couldn't care less if you take the job so they'll tell you how it is.
