Five acres needs to be cleared. Not sure how many trees are good but would expect there to be a lot

5 acres we wouldn't even move on. Would cost us more to move than we would cut.

You should expect to pay someone for only 5 acres.

It's actually gonna cost you money unless you are sitting next to an already operating logging operation. Just to mobilize a skidder and a cutter will be more than the board footage on 5 acres. Where is the property?

What trees plays the biggest part. If they are a goldmine, someone would pay you. With only 5 acres, you are just gonna have to give them away(if they are worth anything), or pay a guy with an excavator or dozer to get rid of them

FWIW, unless they are magical trees, you aren't gonna get a logger to even drive down your road

I am a former forester and wouldn't bother with it at all. Only reason I'd stop by would be to see if you knew anyone with a bigger chunk of property

Spin off question here. I'm thinking of building a new house here soon. How much, per square foot, should I expect to pay to brick the house?
