Yeah, I have re-evaluated, and would need to be at $2 mil. I assume if I am not employed, that I'll pay my own health insurance (or I could just get shitty OCare). That is like $500/month easy, which is entirely employer covered right now.

3 x Average yearly income of a condo at say Phoenix 10 for a 3/2 $36,997
= $110,991

Live at beach, manage properties.

You forgot the expenses part of the equation. No way in hell you could live on three vacation rental properties.

I'm fairly used to being poor since my wife and I save over 40% of our income and honestly have no idea what the operating cost of a rental condo is.

I'd be at the beach though, so there's that.
