1) Less than 100 years

2) Hundreds of years

3) Thousands of years

4) Hundreds of thousands of years

5) Millions of years

6) Billion plus years

My answer is 4 for humanity and 5 for Earth

Human's won't be around for much longer, but whatever we evolve into should be around many thousands of years from now.

Earth: 6

I'd like to believe thousands of years, but it will be interesting how humanity adapts when we start running out of natural resources and aren't so heavily dependent on oil and gas. I also wouldn't mind it ending in my lifetime. That way everybody goes at once and we get to see the return of Jesus.

Humanity I give a few hundred more years. We're too smart for our own good, and we think we own the entire Earth.

quote:

Human's won't be around for much longer, but whatever we evolve into should be around many thousands of years from now.

That isn't really how evolution works. We've developed an infrastructure where the pretty much anyone from the species can reproduce and people with shitty genes don't have nearly as difficult of a time surviving as other species.

2 for humanity unless we get our shite together and start focusing on space travel.

6 for earth.

I'm starting to come to the conclusion you're like Desmond from LOST, but instead of having to press a button every 108 minutes, you have to make a shitty thread every 108 minutes in order to save a world. This thread is simply a threat.

Humans may be here a thousand years from now, but humanity is dying quickly. People are losing self awareness like crazy

Humanity maybe 10's of thousand of years. Humanity will turn into machine or some genetically altered new species.
