What exactly are you doing when you go out on the weekends?

Really? I find the opposite to be true in my personal experience.

Yeah, I don't know about that either. I'm pretty sure that I've seen at least a study or two that suggest introverted types tend to be more intelligent. I haven't spent a lot of time investigating it though, and I would also take any study that tries to say something about intelligence with a pretty big dose of sodium.

My job requires almost constant human interaction and I'm a very private person. It was something I struggled with for years. I'm much better at managing it now but I'm perfectly happy spending 3-5 days with zero interaction. Something I could used to do on camping trips in the CO mountains.

I need it when I need it, and don't when I don't.

The occasional hang out at the club, or sports bars sometimes.
Some people don't know the rules...stepping on people's shoes, mad dogging people, etc.

Plenty of fights would break out on occasion, and I've seen guns pulled in the parking lot over girls and stupid shite like that.

Some people are dumb. Got my stripes already, have nothing to prove. I'm aware that some ppl are looking for notches on their belt, and I ain't the One.

I'm a pretty big extrovert, so I love going out and hanging with people. I was also an only child, so i spent a solid 18 years by myself. That was enough.

At the same time I like my occasional alone time also.

I'd prefer to be alone most of the time. Most people I know find that pretty strange, but if you give me a TV and the internet, I'm good.

Same here.

To the chagrin of my wife and kids, I need very little.

ETA: I devote more time to them and friends than I do to myself, however. Giving of self is one of life's greatest satisfactions IMO.

At 38 I need no interaction. Sometimes I'll walk down to the local watering hole to have a few beers. Someone will always try and start a conversation with me and 9.9 times out of 10 they are annoying to me in some form or fashion. I think it's an age thing.

Every morning I wake up before work I stare at myself in the mirror. Sometimes this goes on for 5 minutes sometimes for an hour. I tell myself things like how beautiful I look, how successful I am and how great I am doing in life in general. The entire time I'm talking to myself I am flexing in the mirror. Biceps and abs. I then walk out the house and completely zone everyone else out of my life. It may seem like I am communicating but that is just my body on autopilot. That is all the human interaction I require.

If I didn't need the occasional bj and vagina I'd be totally content never seeing or talking to another mofo.

I am a retired high school teacher. I spent 25 years locked in a room with teenagers. Now I want alone time.

Clubs aren't the same thing as Twin Peaks, dumbass. Though they have badass pulled pork nachos. Sorry you didn't have cool enough friends to go club hopping in Dallas when you were younger....loser

Didn't sound like you have very good friends either if you were always worried about trouble and someone having or not having your back. Also, if those concerns exists, then these clubs don't sound very 'cool.' I guess this is just a good example of us not getting along.

One question...how many tattoos do you have?

I do enjoy being alone. It is comfortable, secure and drama free.

However, I feel that I do receive needed "energy", I guess you could call it, when around others, which is a good thing.

What I'm saying is that alone time is good but too much alone time is bad.
