Got an estimate and it said (does not include gratuity). I guess that implies I should tip when the job is done.

FWIW, moving between cities 3 hours apart and going from a 1 bedroom apt to another 1 bedroom apt so not a ton of stuff.

$10-$20 per worker depending on the amount of workers.

Depends on how much you are paying. How many guys? Are they packing too? Are they unpacking? Lot of variables.

if everythng is delivered intact, undamaged, and on time, yes, amount depends on the scope of the job, if they're rude, obnoxious slobs, and make remarks about assumed tips, no way

ETA: had to do a knuckle check once with an all my sons crew, NEVER do business with a bunch of brothers, fathers and sons, firefighters, cops, two guys and a truck, etc., type of outfits

I would give $100 to the crew if they do both ends of the move.

If they do a good job, no damage to furniture, a minimum of $20/person.

I paid the last company by the hour and these guys worked their arse off to finish quick so I tipped for 1.5 extra. About $200

BS, when you pay for a service YOU DO NOT TIP

when someone caters to your needs such as a waitress or bag bot carrying your shite to your room, THEN YOU TIP

you idiots who think you have to give every person you interact with a tip is why so many goobers out there are demanding tips for doing a job they are already being paid full wages to do that job.

I mean, this is factually incorrect. I tip people for providing services when they provide good service all the time.

Sorry you're a cheap bastard.

When I moved a few years back, those guys worked their rear ends off to get my stuff moved in a timely fashion.

They were very careful and took the effort to not mess my stuff up.

I had zero issue with giving each of them $100 as a thanks for doing a great job. I would rather have my stuff still in good condition than the company reemburse me for something broken

Def depends on the situation... I once moved in the dead of summer to an upstairs apartment that was across a courtyard from the parking lot and had no room to maneuver on the landing... I saw it was a nightmare situation for them... think I ended up tipping about $50 a guy...they all looked like they were about to die
