How many times have you been friend zoned? How many times have you FZ'd someone?

to continue from another thread. this deserved it's own discussion
i know that i'm known as the king of the FZ around here, but i really put some thought into it, and it has honestly only happened to me about 6 times and 2 of those were in high school
i think i've put 2 or 3 girls in the FZ, one being my last gf. we just didn't have that sort of connection so i guess she's a "friend", now. i think there are a few girls in my rolodex that think i've FZ'd them but i haven't

Was friend zoned once.
I friend zoned a woman was 15 years younger than me. The difference in maturity and where we are in life was too great, and it was clear that hitting it and quitting it was not an option because she was incredibly emotionally clingy.

Constantly friend zoned in high school. Always took it really hard. Only friend zoned one girl in college and felt like a jerk for it.

oh no. i can get you people to open up. i have this magical ability to have people open up to me
and i don't just mean like "girls i meet and talk to". i had an adult male chat me up once at a bar while we were waiting on drinks and then within 5 minutes he was telling me about how when he was a bartender it was teh best time of his life and he wanted to leave his family in houston and start a new life doing stuff like that. then he bought me and my friends a round of drinks for listening to him rant
