One of my five came in this exact area and the same thing happened. It was on 90 east and a trooper stopped me for going 79 in a 55. My cruise was set at 65 so I told him there was no way I was going that fast. He said well I'll try to help you out as long as you don't take this to court. He wrote the ticket for 70 in a 55. Wasn't sure to thank him or not.

5 in the last 12 years. First when I was 17 on some back road in Walker. Two on Greenwell Springs road. One in a speed trap in Pointe Coupee, and one right past the Florida welcome sign on I-10.

70/55 is a much cheaper ticket than 79/55. You should have thanked him.

If I told you the number, you wouldn't believe it.

It's quite excessive

0 - I don't drive like an a-hole, and it's been nearly a decade since my last when I got tagged 36 in a 25 right at the signs going into downtown Hammond. My insurance cost < your insurance cost, sucka!

Five (5) speeding tickets in this vehicle.

How many I truly deserved? Zero (0)

Always am the one stopped due to the vehicle being the sports car in the bunch.

How many police officers have told me that I should expect to be stopped out of a group of cars moving together? Three (3)

How many of the police officers were black? Four (4)

I've only gotten 1 ticket in the past 15 years. As much as I like to bust cops' balls, I do my best to follow the law. It's not that hard to obey traffic laws. Well, except that I'm always tempted to do 90 on the central thruway.

I don't have any problem with mildly breaking the limit, most speed limits are artificially low. But 120 in a 55 is insane. All that had to have happened was for some clueless grandma not paying attention to shift into your lane.

It was in a rural area with no other traffic and nothing but farmland. I chose this stretch of road because of this. Only thing in danger was myself and my dog.

In the last year- none, unless you want to count the b.s. camera ticket for doing 30 in a school zone when school wasn't even in session that day.

My whole life? I think 2. And another for making an illegal left turn at 3am when I didn't want to wait for the light.
