I’ve always tinkered with these but never even came close to solving one. What’s the trick?

Watch a video, it's pretty easy. The hard part is getting quick. I think I got to like 1:42 and got tired of it.

It's actually very easy once you know the sequence. There are tons of YouTube videos that show how. Now, doing it in a few seconds is totally different.

We didn't have YouTube in 1980. It wasn't that easy.

I can do it in less than 3 minutes. I taught my oldest and he can do it in less than 2 now. Little shite.

Look up and memorize the moves or algorithms. The novice moves take a few days to learn. You'll never be the little Asian kid doing it 10 seconds, but it's fun.

Sure it was. You just carefully removed the stickers and then re-applied them accordingly.

You have to make one side show a white cross. It’s pretty easy to do actually. Just give it a shot and once you do, the colors of the corners don’t matter.

After that it’s simply a matter of up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B,A, start.

There’s a dude that graduated from my daughter’s HS that set the speed record solving that shite blindfolded within the last couple of years. I think he’s studying to be a neurosurgeon on the fast track OF IIRC

If you buy an actual name brand rubics cube it comes with instructions on how to solve it.

You need The Lockpicking Lawyer/Covert Instruments in your life.

You quickly learn how ridiculously exploitable most every basic lock you see in use really is. Interesting rabbit hole and a fun hobby to do while you are watching TV.

I can rake most Master Locks in a few seconds (like under 10). Dunno what Mast combo you had but it is likely it could be bypassed in less time than it took to read this sentence. Moving numbers is for suckers.

One is loose...two I got a click on it there, three is binding... IYKYK

Watch a YouTube video. They teach you how to do it. My 9 year-old is a real dummy and he can do it in under 2 minutes.

It was a little tricky, because getting one number three the whole thing off. Never realized you had to add 5 for the first number

Got any videos that can explain it better for me? I tried another one and couldn’t get it after doing the first one

I learned over Mardi Gras this year. Forced myself to practice.

I can consistently solve them now. I keep one on my desk at work and solve them when I get frustrated. That gives me a lot of practice.

I’m not an expert by any means. I think my best time is like 2:45
