A class is either freshman level or it's not. If it's not, once can assume it is harder than freshman level.

4 years for ungrad and 2 years for grad for me.

The appropriate time is: however long it takes you to finish. Everyone has a different story. It took my uncle 8 years for his B.Eng because he had to work a year and school for a year.

One of the most unbelievable, arrogant things I’ve ever read. You need to get your head out of your arse.

I keep thinking, "Jesus this guy is stupid." Then I remember he's literally a teenager. So of course he's stupid.

The real question is "what do you want to get from your college education?" The problem is that hardly anyone a year out of high school has any idea how to go about this. I sure didn't.

I graduated from UT-Austin in five years plus one summer. UT is, BTW, a great school and I don't regret that choice one bit. But for most people the entire period from high school until around 30 or so is just getting enough experience to figure out what you really want to do without getting yourself locked into lifelong obligations that seemed like a good idea at the time but make you miserable in the long run.

dude... you got a 26 on the ACT (that's not good), you were "burnt out" after two semesters of "really hard" community college classes.

you are clearly not cut out for good schools.

I was burnt out after a hard high school and then taking lots of upper level classes, got a job offer, and decided to take it. I got a 27 without taking any ACT classes as a junior, which is 1 below SMU's ACT range. You should probably make yourself familiar with the schools requirements before talking shite. Classic yankee. As soon as I have above a 3.0 I should pretty easily get into SMU if I decide to go there.

so i was correct. 2 semesters of community college that you couldnt even finish.

you havent taken 1 class at a college like UT or SMU or LSU or whatever so your assumption you had earlier doesnt hold much weight to any of us.

some of the easiest classes ive had in college were the upper level stuff closer to graduation. plenty of programs have some of the hardest classes right at the start as 'weed out' classes. make it through the 1 or 2 weed out classes in your first year and its a good indication that you can finish the program. your 'hard' classes at community college werent hard.

Really just looking to make some connections and get a degree. And get as good of a GPA as I can if I want to go to grad school.

Stop saying things like "hard high school" and "got a 27 without any ACT classes as a junior." Neither of these things are accomplishments.

And "upper level classes" in a community college is an oxymoron.

lol, so first you tell me that I am an idiot for only taking freshman classes and dropping out, then when I tell you I didn't take freshman classes you try to say the upper classes are easier. fricking classic. where did you get your degree?

By upper level I mean not freshman.

I'm not saying it's an accomplishment, I'm saying it is good enough to get into SMU.
