We already get Wed, Thur, and Fri off as company holidays. We'll close a little early on Tuesday too. I won't be taking any days off my pto for Christmas.
I'll be taking Friday the 2nd off to just make a 4 day weekend out of New Years.

Never take off.
Not married, don't have kids, don't care about anything other than the day/nights of the actual holidays..which I am off for anyway. Even in service industry, I always lucked out on the holidays and wasn't scheduled.
Between Christmas and New Year's, I'll have 4.5 days in a row for each one. I'm fine with the paid weekdays and subsequent weekends (that I'm already off) that I didn't have to request.

Usually just Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
This year, since the day after Christmas is a Friday, taking that day off too.
Usually work a half-day on New Years Eve and take off New Years Day.
So usually 2 and 1 and 1/2, but 3 and 1 1/2 this year.

I try to wrap 4-6 PTO days around both. Depending on how weekends fall, I can get almost two weeks off.

None for either probably.
Firm is closed the day after Christmas, which gets me to the weekend, so I'll probably just leave at noon on Christmas eve and NYE.
took a couple days at Thanksgiving.

Christmas Eve through New Year's Day.
ETA: But since our office will also be closed 1/2, I won't go back til 1/4 like most others in the thread.

Same here. I'm back at my desk now and looking at my Calendar. I'm actually not coming back until the 5th, not the 2nd. We close for the 24th, 25th, & 1st. I'm going to take vacation on the 26th, 29th, 30th, 31st, and 2nd. That's 5 days vacation that will translate into 12 days off total.

What ever I feel like.....but I am always available for phone calls and whatever essential work I have to do......which is pretty much my schedule all the time.

23rd after our departmental Christmas party through January 4th. Although I check email and what not, and will probably go in on the 29th for a bit just to make sure we still a budget database file. (long story behind that).
