How does one contact you, a person in the know on those lists, for copies of said lists?

Right. I was referring to sales on the courthouse steps. Usually have to pay immediately, but I've seen banks give 24 hours

We were talking about short sales though.

I have bought both ways. Sheriff sale and short sale. Only once through short sale. I say never again but if the deal is right I obviously would. It's just not a pleasant experience. Lot's of incompetence by the paper pushers at banks. On top of that they have to drag it out so their creative accounting department can make sure they get reimbursed from Uncle Sam then double dip by also writing it off as a loss.

You can email me, but I make no promises. I have inspectors that inspect forclosed properties for banks and have crews that maintain them. I have zero inspectors or crews currently in NOLA so it may be a longshot to get a list but, I can try. That's why I said I could MAYBE do it. I know I could for Laffy to Houston. I have crews in all the towns in between.

kaystout13@gmail is my TD email

I will ask tomorrow

I feel like I did ok. Got the house for 25k under initial ask as it was on the market for 4 months. It didn't show well even though it appears to be in good condition so I feel pretty good about it so far. Previous owner just had too much vegetation around the yard and bad decor. Some houses on my street need to be updated (the ones owned for 20 years) but the ones that have changed hands have been updated. Near Audubon and flood is $400 a year hooray!

When we were looking, we made an offer based on info and pice first day house was on market but another offer came in before ours. The house we bought was on market for about 40 days.

Got to be uptown, close to parade route with a pool. Mama ain't moving all the way down here without those three checked off the list

Ouch- That is going to be tough. I don't know the size and bedrooms you are looking for but that could easily be a million dollars

I live in Lakeview and a lot of my neighbors are selling their house FSBO and are selling them very quick. Guy down the street has his 1950 sq ft house listed for $499,000 and I'm sure he will sell it soon!
