Going to Houston this weekend for the game and going to be playing golf on Sunday. Have a tee time set up for the morning and was curious to see if anyone has ever played it and how there experience was.

Concept is great but the last time I played it was not in good shape. Course conditions did not reflect the rates. Still a good play for first timers though bc of the design. Enjoy!

All about condition.

We have had a lot of rain lately/summer. If they manage it correctly should be great condition.

"amen corner" is pretty damned cool.

Have to throw one in the water on # 12 I believe. Which is Sawgrass # 17 I believe.

If the weather forecast holds up, you're going to get wet.

We were planning golf too, but it's not looking good.

Their reproduction of amen corner is actually very good.

Their bay hill hole is fun.

Overall I like the course. I played it in June and conditions were good. It has not been too hot this summer with decent rainfall. I think you should have good conditions.

But again it is supposed to rain a bunch this weekend.

You'd probably do better playing the Tradition course at Cypresswood

If they had a decent maintenance crew Tour 18 could be awesome

Played there not too long ago. It's like having sex with a chick that looks like Brittney Spears back in the day. Something to do but sure ain't Brittany. I played it once and wouldn't go back. Have fun though. Drink some beers.

Playing there Friday AM. It's a fun course. It will not be the best conditioned course around but will be good. If you want to play a great course that is always well conditioned play Cypresswood - The Tradition Course.

I've played it a couple of times. No real desire to go back. Should pay it at least once though.

Eta: I birdied the par 3 on Amen Corner. It wasn't legit though as I was playing a scramble, but we used my tee shot and I made the putt. I got to watch three putts first though.

I live about 5 minutes from it. Have played it about a 2 or 3 times this Summer. Greens were kinda rough. Fairways were ok. If it is your first time, enjoy. If you have played it already, I would probably get a tee time at Cypresswood or even Oakhurst.

If you are looking for a bargain on a great course, check out Eagle Pointe in Mont Belview. There's never a crowd it seems and I like that course way more than Tour 18.

I just got an email from golf18.com about Eagle Pointe tee times before 1 @ 47 per player after 1 drops to 40 each.

X 2. I love that course and if you are heading back East, it is on the way home.

Played it the weekend of the senior tour event at the woodlands. My second time but first for my three buddies. It was ok. Will find another course next year. Arnie's mgmnt group runs it.

It's just a gimmick. Like going to see a tribute band.
