Meanwhile, he's at his desk working and you're fricking off on TD. How does you feel about that behavior?

At least now you don't have to smell a sweaty coworker all day.

If you pay for someone to do a job for you when you need it, and when that time comes you do it yourself, that makes you a man.

A blitheringly stupid man.

I would just change the tire myself, but he is just using a service for which he paid. And it is their job to do it. If they dont want to do it they should quit. Stupid thing to shame him for.

I wear slacks and a button down to my office. I'm not changing a flat in that.

I have the Timehop app that shows you pictures you have taken on this day in history. I had a flat on this day a year ago that I took a picture of and remember it being miserable changing by myself. happened at lunch and I went home after that because I was going to have to take a shower and change clothes. Didn't go back in to work that afternoon.

He's keeping the economy moving. Sorry your coworker doesn't feel like he needs to prove that he can change a tire like you do.

If he does it himself, and somehow does damage to the car, he pays.

Towtruck guy does it, he is liable.

I know where you were going with that, but it's probably true. He'd already make a better manager than the OP, seems like he can at least delegate responsibly and knows the value of his time.

He is at work, gets a flat tire, paid for a service that would come out and fix a flat. What is the problem? If he were at home or something thats one thing.

FWIW, I keep a hydrolic jack and 4 prong wrench in my truck and can change my tires in prob 5 minutes.

I do too, but that doesn't mean you won't be drenched in sweat in those 5 minutes, and good luck not getting black shite all over your pants and/or shirt and/or face from touching the dirty tire. I'm sure he's wearing at least khakis and a polo. That's not tire changing clothes when it's 98F outside.

Why would you not call someone else to do it when it's free? you'd have to be a moron not to.
