How do you pronounce Ochsner?

Having a discussion at work. Thought I would go to the OT, the fount of all knowledge.

Ochsner Health System. Is Ochsner pronounced “Osh”ner or “Ox”ner.

I grew up in Baton Rouge and have always said/heard “Osh”ner.

What says the OT?

I'm also in BR. I think I've heard an ad pronouncing it that way, although I don't think that's the correct way to say the surname.

re: How do you pronounce Ochsner?
I pronounce it dont take me there..

I walked into the emergency room a few months back. Something was going wrong with my kidney and I was in extreme pain.

The fat bitch working the counter just told me to wait. Her computer went down. I went and sat down nobody was in there. Not a damn soul besides me and my fiance. 15 min went by and not one fricking person even asked me why I was there. I got up and walked out.

Took a shite load of pain medicine and soaked in the tub in hot water all night. Never knew what happend.

If you say ax for ask, you'll say Oxner for Oschsner.

You can't just change a word because you mispronounce it.
