We are launching our website this week. The unit is just finishing up its testing and certification from NC State. Its a totally mobile stand alone unit that produces 4kw and can be ungraded all the way up to 12kw.

They lease them.

Companies will have you sign over your tax credits you receive to them. Afterwards you py them a monthly "maintenance" fee for a certain amount of time and then they are yours. Most of the commercials I see on local TV around here work this way.

Very interested please send me the web link - pmacneworleans@gmail.com. I'm in a historic district, and given the location of my roof, can't have a typical solar installation.

Again, why the frick you lease them just to have some Sec 8 tenants live in your house? You can just as easily get Sec 8 tenants without buying the solar panels

I will keep in touch. There is a demo unit on the corner of Tchoupitoulas and First street. The redesigned unit is half that size. We have installed a few units in the city on some friends houses and a doctors office and they are working out great.

There was a federal program not long ago to 'green' houses in poor neighborhoods.

I always see rednecks out in the sticks with solar panels but I assumed they were using Haynesville shale money to buy them.
