One story or two story house? Also, do you have a basement?

I never touched in our 9 ft deep end. Of course, I stopped doing stupid stuff like that in high school and I've put on substantially more weight since then.

Half as tall as your house times 2. Be sure you have water in your pool.

I wasn't exaggerating at all there.

you can do a belly flop off of a 500ft tower into a kiddy pool and be just fricking dandy because of the surface area you project.
I don't think you know how science works.

Ok Ok. So I was exaggerating a whole lot. There is a lot of sciency shite though to increasing your surface area and that decreasing the require depth.

You would break bones doing a belly flop at 50 ft. Much less 500

The propensity is absolutely there, but this isn't a given by any stretch.

I think y'all just started the newest social media challenge.

Depends how tall your house is. For a normal single story house you would probably be fine with 4 feet, but I would prefer 5-6 feet at least. You really don't need that much. I've done this before... when I was an irresponsible teenager.

FIFY

You better strengthen up the sides of your pool if you're going to cannonball off the roof.

And when you increase velocity and surface area then you increase the force that you impact the water. Because of the surface tension of the water it would be like hitting concrete at enough height.

If you want to jump off the top of your house and do a cannon ball?
For Tiger Ryno...3'or less
For the people I care about and love...12'+

I go deeper than 4 feet jumping off the side.
