This. I am more embarrassed by a low score than I would be of a higher score.

I'm not sure there's a reason to be embarrassed by any score. It's not that kind of test. It mostly just shows how you were raised and your entertainment habits.

That's the exact point of this type of test.

The pickup truck is a bad question because down here they are status symbols of wealth and masculinity.

Maybe embarrassed was the wrong word and cautious may have been the better description. I posted before looking at others post and I feel like a low score could be taken out of context. Not that it makes a flying shite what people on a board think but still it could be taken differently by people than what it should be.

Here, they are to pull a boat. I can't imagine not having a boat. A Subaru is the status vehicle, particularly if the have a couple dozen anti right wing bumper stickers holding it together

Just a random user name from 10 years ago... I guess it would add (bad) points to this particular survey

This sounds about right, although my grandparents were upper middle class. And my parents were just solid middle class.

I think my score would have been a lot lower, but I have quite a few friends that smoke. strangely they all have college degrees. some even have advanced degrees.

Well played Bubble list . My parents worked hard to give me a head start which I hope to do in turn for their grandkids.
