How bad has 2020 been for you personally?

Not only did I have to deal with Covid and a reduction to my income, but all sorts of shite converged. Family issues (always fun), a hurricane knocked a tree onto my house (and I’m fighting with the ins. co.), I had rotator cuff surgery in November and have been miserable for the last month, and some of the biggest work headaches I’ve deal with in years. Oh and LSU football.
At least I’m alive. My wife hasn’t left me. I know a poor bastard who lost both his job and his wife this year, on top of a bad car accident.
I don’t believe in New Years resolutions since it’s just a date on a calendar, but holy shite, 2021 can’t get here fast enough. Here’s to nowhere to go but up.

First half of 2021 is going to suck too, unfortunately.

Yeah, if it gets better, it won’t be till the summer.

You assume this won't drag into 2021. It will.

My EX of 11yrs went fckk someone in a camp on Grand Island back on August 29th and 30th. I only found out because she marked it on her ovulation calendar.
Besides that, it is a great year.

It hasn’t been all bad. Going through two hurricanes REALLY sucked, my home was hurt pretty bad, but has since been repaired. But, I got a new, better paying job and just bought a new truck a couple weeks ago. 2020 has certainly put things in perspective though.

how could she do that to nymeria?

Covid19 has made work extremely stressful. I’m always on edge waiting for someone to call in because they have a runny nose. My company is allowing people to do this and we’ve had a bad run of people taking advantage of it. Hurricane Laura sucked, we were out of power for 10 days. But on the bright side, I racked up on a lot of oak wood for my smoker and patio fireplace

I was more pissed she brought Nymeria spend the day together on September 7th in Raceland, La after he went get addipex from a weight loss clinic.
Idc, you leave, don't let that slimy looking mfer touch my Nymeria.
She said Nymeria barked at him the whole time, good Nymeria.

My company shut their doors permanently in April, so that sucked.
I was finally able to get another job last month. Benefits are worse, but pay is better and I have way more opportunities to move up.
I've lost nothing besides 7 months of wages, and the stimulus and enhanced unemployment mitigated some of that.
I understand how fortunate I've been, and I'm glad to be back at work.

Well...I’m currently in rehab

Fine, my only real regret was being a good stooge and locking down in March and April like I was required which prevented my child’s grandparents from seeing her. Never again.

Broke up with a long term girlfriend, parents going through a tough economic time, but at the end of the day I’m still here to keep fighting. I’ll keep you in my thoughts OP, keep going my man. When you keep pushing, you give yourself the opportunity to look back on situations and be thankful for them. It’s just about keeping going. All love guys

Overall I’m happy with LSU football in 2020. Disappointing lately but started out really good.

Never lost job or any income. Brought a daughter into the world. Family is healthy. Made a killing in the stock market. All in all it’s been pretty good personally.

Not too bad outside of worrying about social skills for my young kids.
No hit to income. Negotiated a good deal on the house we were renting. No one I know personally has been affected by covid.
We’re really fortunate.

Lost my job once, if we shut down again I'll lose it again and will be ready to get scuba gear to find my guns I lost in a boat accident for the revolution

I’m the luckiest MFer alive. Had a hurricane rip through my rentals and the insurance company was more than fair, finished building our house, got married, got a pretty good promotion.
This means when I get rona I’m going to die.
