Let's say one gained employment at One shell plaza downtown. Residence in Spring.

What would commute be like daily?

Not worth. Used to work DT houston and quit after 3 months because I would waste 2+ hours of my time everyday

Make sure you lift your F-250 extra high so you can see over the traffic.

Yikes, about 90 minutes.

But it all depends on when you are leaving.

If you leave around 6am fine, wait till 6:30am, forget about it. It really does make a huge difference.

That is close to my commute. I hit the gym early and am out of there around 6:00. About 30-35 minutes at that time. About an hour once you get to 7-7:30. I leave for home around 6. Typically 40-45 minutes.

Don't drive my truck to work, use my gas car for weekdays
