Just saw a video of a bunch of Australians commenting on the Hottness of American male accents...obviously the Southern Accent was what all of the women found most attractive.
So what is the hottest accent on a woman? Clearly in The US it's Southern, but what's next? Even extend it to internationally I'd have:
Most Attractive:
1A. Southern - 1B. Australian
2. Southern California (not valley girl) - think The Hills/Laguna Beach
3. Posh English
4. Russian
5. Brazilian/Portugese/Spanish - they all sound the same to me.
Least Attractive:
1. Brooklyn/Ethnic NY
2. Upper Midwest (think Fargo)
3. Boston
4. Cockney
5. Scottish

Women with Wisconsin accents kinda do it for me.
Or, and I know it's not an accent, a raspy voice.

It is hard to beat a proper British accent.

3. Generic English/ London
FWIW you are hardly ever hear this on the BBC anymore. It's usually some super-grating Cockney or North of England person, all in the name of diversity

The over the top hick southern female accent isn't hot at all..
But a normal southern accent on a banging hot southern chick is sexy as frick.
But the backwoods hickville accent

Once you hit Eskimos they don't even talk at all, just rub their noses together

Yeah I almost put Posh English (which is slightly different but still similar) to avoid confusion. Will change. But yes, the English accent most of us in the states think of, the BBC newsreader accent.
So the BBC really don't make them soften their accent anymore? The reason there is a generic American accent for news anchors/announcers is so everyone across the country can understand you clearly. I don't get why they'd deviate from this.

A drunk girl from Ville Platte with a thick Cajun accent. She's definitely going to put out.
