Homeless guy saves mom and 3 kids from drowning in canal

Basically this lady drove into a canal near a park where some homeless guys were living. The interview in the link is pretty funny. The homeless guy is understandably proud of saving the mom and kids.

A mother and her 3 children are saved from their SUV as it sinks into a canal by some unlikely rescuers. You can see the mangled guardrail where a mother lost control and drove her SUV through the railing, down this embankment and into the canal near John Prince Park.
Chris Schuddekopf, a homeless man who spends his nights in the park, and his friends were able to jump into the canal and save the mother and her three children.
"We ran from the pavilion came over here jumped in the water and saved them. One of the other homeless guys staying here jumped in the water and went to the other side..pulled each one out..each kid out one by one plus the mom and we all carried them up the hill," said Schuddekopf as he watched the submerged SUV being pulled from the water.
