I'm sure the questions were scripted and edited.....but I don't think her campaign agreed to have her look like an awkward, humorless old lady.
Obama actually produced a few laughs on his appearance on that show.

Supposedly the Obama one was all improv. I saw an interview with the producer, and that's what he said. Seemed like he was telling the truth

Again, this is the way it's supposed to be scripted. Awkward and uncomfortable is the exact humor they are going for. There is a screen shot earlier in the thread of the producers emailing a "joke" they wanted Obama to use in the script. I feel like this isn't that difficult of a subject to grasp. If Clinton doesn't like the way an interview goes, her camp will not let it get posted. They have a little bit more pull over funny or die
