I grew up in this area (on Starring around Boone Dr) and was wondering if there was any flood damage in that area. Thanks...

I live on Boone near Staring... some of Mayfair got it pretty bad during the heavy rain portion, the houses right where Staring crosses over Dawson Creek. Some of Walden flooded as well, again houses that backed up to Dawson Creek. Everything else around there was high and dry the whole time.

Highland Rd was where the Mississippi would flood to every year BEFORE the levee's were built. It's naturally high ground and why people have lived there way before any levee's were there to protect them.

Walden flooded pretty good, but that's it. Most of highland stayed dry.
