BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
On April 6 around 11 p.m., a BRPD officer was dispatched to 2100 Perkins Palms Ave. in reference to a large group of males and females having an egg fight in the parking lot of the park.

The officer contacted the called, who said she did not want to press charges, but wanted to make a report because her vehicle was hit by one of the eggs. When the officer arrived, he says he saw a large group of high students dressed in garbage bags throwing eggs and bags of flour at each other at the BREC skate park. When the group saw the marked police car, they began to flee on foot into nearby woods while some fled in their vehicles.

The officer says the park was covered in eggs, flour, and other litter. The officer says he contacted Brother Xavier with Brothers of Sacred Heart to advise him of the situation. Xavier stated he would advise the Catholic High principal in the morning.

No arrests were made in this incident.

I guess that's better than fighting with bags of coke like the kids at Episcopal do.

They cancelled today's "Challenge Day", which is a big deal at CHS and SJA.

GF is alumni of SJA and got the email about this. They cancelled the Challenge Day(field day between schools and alumni events).

I told her "I bet a fricking OT thread will pop up over this stupid shite they did."

Typical modern day response. Punish everyone instead of figure out who is responsible. It's a high school, 30 minutes of hard questioning and someone would give up the responsible parties. Then send them out to clean the entire park on a Saturday. Problem solved.

Word is that the driver of the decision was the SJA principal, who has supposedly been looking for a reason to get rid of it (doesn't like the whole "boys versus girls" thing).
