I don't think our school even does them anymore, they may of had a 20th. But this year would have been our 25th.

Of the guys that all still keep in touch, we just organized a weekend golf trip. About 10 of us with friends from high school and few others that came along during the years. Few I still see yearly and few that I haven't seen in years but still keep in touch with.

That is the way to do it IMO.

I couldn't make my ten year but saw pictures. It's crazy, 50% of people look almost exactly the same and the other 50% were unrecognizable ghouls.

I see enough of my HS classmates on social media. If social media is any example of what they've become, I dont want to hear from most of them.

I stay in touch with a couple of my old HS teammates. We've been best buds since 4th and 5th grade.

Went to my 10 year and 20 year reunions and decided not to go to any since. I keep in touch with the classmates I want to and some others via social media. It was funny at the 20th seeing how rough some of the people had aged in a relatively short time. I have run into classmates away from home and my wife can't believe they were the same age as me, If I didn't have gray hair nobody would come close to guessing my age.

I have been to a bunch of them.
We have a big one every five years and have an annual one every December in the French Quarter. They are well attended and a lot of fun. The guys still act like a bunch of drunken 18 year olds and it is great to see that few people have matured in the past four decades.

I've never gone to one. My 5 year, I was out of state and couldn't attend. I was planning on going to the 10 year one, but I saw a girl at Wal-Mart that I sat next to in Algebra and talked to daily for two years and she didn't even remember who I was. It was a bit of a gut punch and decided to not show my face.

I went to my 25th and realized that, wioth a few exceptions, I had kept up with the folks I wanted to keep up with and remembered the reasons I had not kept up with others,

Sadly one of the exceptions was a guy I was looking forward to seeing who had been in a motorbike accident that took most of his short term memory. He came up to me three times as if it were the first. The other which was good for me was seeing a girl I dated for a while and took to the prom. The wife was not so excited to meet her.

We don't typically have big events, but for our 15th a group of people from my class all went to dinner together. My buddies that I still hangout with met them at a bar afterwards. I already see/talk to the half dozen people from my high school that I care to keep in touch with.

ETA: for our 10th 5 of us went visit a buddy who lives in Manhattan.

I'm going to our 20 year the middle of the month. It'll be nice to catch up with some friends I haven't seen in a while. I have some friends that will be lifelong friends even if I don't see them anywhere but every 10 years at a reunion. I had a good childhood and buddies I went to K-12 with that I was close to, we just live hours away now so it's nice getting to see some of them other than on Facebook.
