I thought young Megan showed a certain amount of finesse in her dirty play at the plate. You've got admit that her timing was perfect. Both of those girls got flattened. My only question is, after she leveled the first girl, why didn't the second one slide in spikes up?

It looks like she was trying to give the catcher a rub or jam her. But that catcher was too stout for her and she just glanced off.

Yeah, she looks to be six or 8 inches taller than the base runners, but doesn't appear to be really heavy like some catchers. I can practically guarantee that Megan has been throwing elbows all season, if not for years. These don't look like her first attempts. She was WAY too good for it to be her first try.

I doubt they wear metal spikes, but this was my thought as well. It's the way it should be taken care of...

The girl didn't go after em with a car, she bumped em a bit. So what. I think it is wrong and if she was my kid or player I would yank her after the second time, but honestly in real time I don't even know I would notice, you act as if she needs to be picked up by the police.
It just wasn't that intense. If it was boys I doubt anyone even hits the dirt nor worries about it.
It is a basic non issue.
