Even the Japanese sub commander testified that while they could zigzag their course. His crew had a firing solution no matter which way they went.


It also didn't help that navy only issued discretionary zigzagging a d never provided intelligence of a sub in the area.

The pilots had to train and pass a series of tests. WTF wouldn't you just bomb the tests?
