I did a lot of bad things back then. I shot at people, I busted a lot of heads, and I buried a lot of bodies…You can try to justify it by saying they deserved it, that they had it coming, but some just got whacked for absolutely no reason at all. The whole crew were homicidal maniacs… Just about every guy was a cold blooded murderer. It was tough for me. I showed up with them when I had to, but I was walking between rain drops. Every day I was scared. I never killed nobody – at least not on purpose. I shot at people but we didn’t stick around to find out what happened.

Did any wise guys actually come out as saying he was full of shite? Did Goodfellas come out after the main guys died? Paulie died in prison. The Jimmy characters actual counterpart lived and I assume finally died in prison. Guess most of those guys kept their mouths shut for chances at parole or appeals?

At the end of Henry's life, last decade probably, he was not in need of protection. I guess everybody he could hurt was dead or those he pissed off were dead?

I think there is still a contract out for Donnie Brasco/whatever his real name is. Maybe Hill wasn't that important to them. Hell, they probably all liked Goodfellas

Was it the same family? They had Hill and an FBI rat at the same time?

Hill was a Lucchese associate

Pistone/Brasco was like a night away from being a made man in the Bonnano family

Got it.

I was prepared for my mind to be blown though.

Saw an interview on YouTube. Looked shot in the 90's. Hill and another guy who was a hit man with the real family involved in Casino. It was interesting.

Hill looked more like a clown. The other guy looked like he still had a couple holes dug in the desert ready to go. Hills being a drunk never helped though.
