Heater core out in truck.....

Too much labor involved with removing dashboard etc

Anyone found a portable heater that will work in truck to at least produce a minimal amount of heat for the 5-7 days we have each year of the below 30 degree weather?

Harbor Freight 12 Volt Heater

This puts out some heat. I recommend getting at least two of them.

By the time you do all of that you might as well just change the core. Like I said my friend will do it for hundred bucks.

I had mine go out several years ago in my truck cost 700 bucks to get replaced

Yeah heater core itself is inexpensive .... It's removing the entire dashboard and putting back together correctly is issue.

$100 sounds to good to be true

Yeah, it is pretty cheap but he has done it so many times that he makes it look easy.
