1) What did it feel like?

2) Where were you when it happened?

3) How did it change your life?

Like my chest was caving in. Ton of pressure and then my right arm went numb

I was tailgating at an lsu game

It didn't really change my life. I did quit smoking and cutting back on my caffeine intake

Ann or Nancy, Ann or Nancy????

Turns out the correct answer was "d" (none of the above).

Though I was having one on the way home from work. Was driving and I passed out at the wheel. Had a real ruff day at work. As I was driving, my chest was about to bust wide open, left arm numb and broke out into a sweat. I had slowed down and before I knew it, I blacked out. Woke up in a ditch and was able to get out. Only had to drive about 4 miles from the house. Got home and the wife looked at me and rushed me to the hospital.

Two days later, I had a CRT-D implanted. My heart was clear of any blockage, but the LV was three time bigger then normal. Come to find out I was in heart failure. All due to a infection that wiped out my heart. That was a little over 4 1/2 years ago.

Very big life changing event.

Feels like someone in your chest is trying to crow-bar your sternum in-two.

My brother had one Saturday. Pain in chest "like heartburn" he said. Then left arm pain. Then uncontrolled nausea and vomiting. Ended in Lafayette getting two stents. Need quad bypass in a month. Lucky to be alive.
