Anyone have a recommendation or a suggestion on a place that does these? Any idea how much they run?

IDK, but I bought a kit on Amazon and it worked awesome. Several options. It was like $10.

I know there are a couple of good plastic surgeons in BR. Still, many women go to Houston or Dallas. Depends on how large the desired result would be, budget for 10k.

Turtle Wax makes a brand of headlight restoration that does and AWESOME job. Go get it at Autozone.

That's why they say when you buy a car "marry the bumper, buy the headlights"

Dr. Wade is a friend and one of the best at uplifts - those things shine straight out.

Spray OFF insect repellent on the plastc and then rub with a face cloth until clear. Do it several times in small circular pattern. Almost free to do it this way.

I haven't had the issues with deet spray, but this one looks like it will work. LINK

Try a product called Wipe New. Can be purchased at Wal Mart for $14.88.

They make a headlight kit and and black plastic trim restorer kit.

I didn't need the headlight kit, but did use the black plastic trim kit, and that product works wonders to restore chalky white oxidized black plastic. It's way better than just a coating of Armor All that's just going to wash off in the rain anyway.

Please do not use bug spray containing deet. This method will eventually speed up the hazing process as deet will start to break down the plastic. In fact I just went check my can of OFF and it specifically says "Do not apply on or near: acetate, rayon, spandex(other than nylon), furniture, PLASTICS, watch crystals, leather and painted or varnished surfaces including AUTOMOBILES."

Try a car polish and follow up with a wax. If that doesnt work then I heard Easy Off works good initially but speeds up the hazing in the long run as I am sure most headlight restoration kits will. Or you can buy an aftermarket set of lights, wax them regularly, and be done with it for a long time.

After you use whatever compound that you decide on spray the finished product with a can of clear coat and the problem will be solved. I'm doing mine this afternoon

Just get some metal polish and do it yourself.

I would consider just applying a synthetic sealant/wax on the restored headlights vs a spray can of clear. The sun will eventually break down that clear and make it yellow and hazy again. If you keep the headlights sealed then you won't have anything to worry about.

Take a tube of white gritty toothpaste like Colgate. Rub it on light. Take a toothbrush and scrub for a minute. Wipe off with water and towel.
You are welcome
