I should note that I personally get no joy out of this. I'm personally okay with the university decision, because a hard lesson will be taught to those boys. However, I think a learning opportunity was lost here. The president could have dismantled the frat, suspended the kids, yet had them face a jury of his peers, meaning the black student union and others that they offended.

What happened here is what has happened far too often in our "racial history"; instead of dealing with the problem, we run from it. The door to discourse was closed. So how is this kid supposed to learn from this when he runs back to his homogenous enclave in southlake, carroll?

I would have made him stay on campus, (ensure their security), but have them face the music. The only way they will see/feel the damage they have done is to see it in the eyes of others. I highly doubt they will get that in their family environments.

1. I don't think what the boy said was good by several standards of judgement. However, this is an example of what's out there, and it's a good thing more blacks and/or whites aren't videoed for their exploits.

2. At least I heard his parents respond in an educated, correct, and apologetic fashion. They actually sounded accountable. Never, ever hear that from a black parent, or parents if there are both available.

All the in-your-face outraged SJWs are so disgusting about pushing this stupid shite to the forefront of discussions that it polarizes issues and basically forces simple folks who otherwise wouldn't, and shouldn't, give a rat's arse about this kind of stuff to pick a side.

What are you blabbering about? Sorry to break it to you Cleetus, but this isn't a race war and you don't need to "pick a side."

Compare to what?

These kids were on a bus lauding terroristic actions towards their fellow Americans... Is that not violent ?

What does that have to do with anything?

How is this now an assault on black parenthood?

The mental pathology that exists on this board is alarming. The way some of you can twist this into "it's their fault" is all too eerly similar to what segregationist did back in the old days.

Youd be shocked--it seems as if some people's view points have changed over the course of the past couple of 100s of years

The rap community can keep using it all they want. But when they're selling it to millions of consumers who aren't their n****s, then it isn't exactly doing anything positive for anybody.

But neither is talk of murder and the use of women as useless sex objects. Free speech!...........until it's someone talking about us.

I think so, and equally so are the Black Panters, the New Black Panther Party, The Nation of Islam, and the Nuwaubian Nation of Moors among others.

I also believe the most evil, and dangerous person alive since Hitler is Louis Farrakhan. But most of ya'll give him a pass. Free speech right?
