Did it work out OK?

Frames direct. Haven't had any bad experiences.

I ordered some prescription KD'S a few years ago directly from them and it went fine. I know a few people who order prescription safety glasses online and have only heard one complaint.

how much do you pay for them? I had a pair of prescription oakleys but they were like $500 so I've been hesitant to get a new pair.

Would like to order a set of prescription costas or maui jims or something, whats the process?

eta: wow just went to frames direct website and was playing around, seems extremely easy to do

My particular safety glasses are expensive but it's because of my RX and the quality of lens I buy. They are transitions so they serve as both glasses and sunglasses and with my insurance I pay $475. I do know that a single vision prescription pair of regular non safety sunglasses is much cheaper than my progressive bifocal but I don't know just how much cheaper. I paid around $200 for my last pair of single vision sunglasses but that was years ago.

Yep, gonna be pricey any way you go, but that site seems very easy.

Thanks LBT and AG.

Got mine from Zenni.com

They aren't name brand frames, but they are inexpensive and mine feel and function just as well a my 400$ raybans.

I got 2 pair, one with transition lenses for 60$.

Chick26, framesdierct is doing 40% off on entire order (not including Maui Jim's ). Offer ends today at midnight.

I got some more Ray-Bans and some Wiley'x's.

Just need to find some old-school bitchin' Gargoyles.

IDK what happened to my old mirrored gray ones.

I know I was cool, though.
