I bought these in 2001ish before they hit the market.
I was a dumb freshman or sophmore in high school with more money than sense.
Traded them for a set of irons, a redline driver, a precept golf bag, and 60 bucks in 2005.
No regrets.
I buy Aviator brand glasses now. A few dozen pairs at a time.

I was actually given some recently as a gift. I use them when I mow my lawn. They're not bad but I'll take my Maui Jims all day every day.

Had a pair of straight jackets and switched to Costas. Not bad sunglasses but it definitely depends on what you're using them for. Running, biking, anything along those lines: oakley all day. Costa and Maui Jim have a noticeably better lens quality and personally are much more comfortable.
