Have you ever known someone who was murdered

Our homecoming queen was murdered by her boyfriend. Another girl I graduated with was murdered by her boyfriend. A college buddy got caught up in gambling and was found dead in his car with a bullet to the head.

My babysitter when I was 3 was murdered. She was supposed to have me with her at the time it happened, but my mom got off work early that day and picked me up before the time she usually got me.

I heard my next door neighbor get shot in her apartment on the other side of the wall from where I was standing. I tried to talk myself out of what I "thought" I heard, but I went out, found her door unlocked, walked in and found her.

A buddy's brother was murdered when he was in high school delivering pizzas. Another guy that I know well was shot by the DC snipers in Hammond in '02, but he survived

Guy that lived on my floor at Kirby Smith my freshman semester was murdered. Carjacked in the lot and shot in the back by some thugs.
My brother was murdered in Montgomery Alabama three years ago by some thugs in a robbery.
A brother in law was murdered by a guy who owed him money in Ohio about five years ago. Of course they both brought weapons to that meeting so apparently it was destined to be a shoutout. Jury acquitted on self-defense.
So yea.

A guy I went to elementary school with was walking down Bourbon St. when someone threw a bottle that was meant for someone else and it hit the guy I knew in the temple and killed him. Total freak occurrence.

My great uncle was known for giving money to poor families in his community, he stopped in a convenience store one night to get peanuts and a coke and one of the kids he helped out shot him in the head.

Knew a guy who was found dead in his truck in front of his apartment complex the day after he was shot in the chest. Happened in 2009. Always suspected he was involved in something and I suppose that confirmed it.
