Realizing in advance that a majority of O-T posters are male (or allegedly male, thanks AM).

If you have gotten flowers at work, was it for a routine reason (birthday, anniversary, etc.) or why else?

Ladies, feel free to contribute as well.

Nope, but have gotten lots of fresh garden vegetables at work. That's way better than flowers.

Are you asking me (a male) if I've received flowers?

I have been on this earth for 36 years and I still don't understand flowers, women, or many other matters of the heart.

No, I don't even know how I'd react if somebody brought me a bouquet of flowers.

It's kinda like the way Red Foreman felt about another man buying shoes for me (a male) you just don't do it.

little plants that bloom and smell nice

or things men send to women so women can show off to other women...look how sweet my husband is...some women are crazy enough to send flowers to themselves to make other women jealous

I used to work with a guy that was sent flowers on his birthday every year. Some of his old college buddies would do it, and the note would say something like "Thanks for the great time, Stud. Love, LaQuanda"
