Not everyone is so dramatic to challenge someone to a brass knuckles duel. Some of us talk out our differences.

I've never understood the idea of beating the other person's arse. Sure that person may have helped wreck your relationship and family, but it was the SO actually who did the cheating.

Depends. If he didn't know it ain't his fault. If he was someone we both knew and knew we were married then you gotta reassert dominance and kick his arse. If ya can't then bring a bat. But if you don't do something then you just look weak.

My wife and I were married for two years. One Tuesday afternoon I came home to find my wife was at home which was unusual. Walking into the house, I found her in our bed with this random man who I didn't know. Immediately, I recognized that she was in fact cheating on me with this man, in our bed.

But I couldn't get mad at him. Clearly, she held 100% of the blame(as stated by the user above). So I angrily showed her the door as she left my apartment crying. I offered the man a beer and we shared a shower together. The start of a great friendship.

As for my wife, we're still married and the man is the godfather of my second child, Brandi.

No need to potentially face criminal charges and/or litigation.

Even if you do kick his arse, he's still banging your ex once the dust settles.

I have been cheated on once (that I know of anyway). I was deployed when it happened. I called the guy, told him I thought what he did was low, but good luck. I didn't rage, didn't act like a dick. He said he was sorry but he loved her.

I hung up and have never spoken to either one again. Through a mutual acquaintance I learned that they were married. As far as I know they are still together, so it worked out best for everyone involved.

Moral of the story, get over it. Life goes on. You can't control others' actions, and their actions may actually be for the benefit of all involved in the long run.

When I was young, yeah. A buddy of mine was banging a girl I liked. I hit it first and was still knocking it down on the regular. I thought he was just hitting it to hit it.

I thought I was the one who cared about that bag of crazy.

Turns out it was the other way around and I was an a-hole.

I chucked his phone into a palm tree tried to fight him. Dude was the smaller guy but the bigger man. We're still friends to this day, that particular bag of crazy is lurking in BR.

I don't respect him for much, but that I do.

Also I hit it first, and I hit it last...so there's that.

True story: I used to work with a older guy with a ypunger wife who came home to find his wife fricking another dude. He knocked the dude out, tied the wife up, and woke the guy up only to frick him while the wife watched.

Older black guy who was quiet and never said much.

Talk bout silenced a room.
