Yeah, HEB is the only store I've been to where there are 3 different carts. A stubby cart like the OP mentioned, a normal shopping cart, and a large shopping cart which is bigger, deeper, and taller.
I opt for the big cart even if I'm not getting much just because it's more comfortable to push around.

what about the plastic hand carts ON WHEELS? have you seen those bad boys? it makes you feel like you look like a 4th grader with your little red wagon.

I like them. A local chain is the only place around here that has them. I take my daughter with me and make her fill up the bottom section.

Those carts are best. my lil girl rides on the end and is close enough I can catch her if she takes off running down the aisles

Love those things if I'm shopping to cook one meal. If I'm shopping for staples, dry goods, etc, they're the debil.
