Has anyone ever successfully shipped a king cake?

Without it looking like a disaster by the time it arrives?
Looking to get one shipped up here to NJ but anytime I've ever had it done, it ends up all mushed and frosting all over the lid / plastic wrap by the time it arrives. Anyone have any recommendations on a company that ships them well?

Pretty much every king cake company ships king cakes.

My parents always have one from Gambinos shipped to me.
The cake comes with the frosting in a bag and the colored sugar in separate containers. I then spread the frosting and sugar myself.

I know. But who ships them well is the question.

Just an FYI nearly every king cake maker in the city limits will re-ship you another king cake if yours arrives smashed and ugly.
I used to order mine from Randazos and ship them to Dallas. Every time they came smashed, I would take a picture and email it to customer service.

I've had both types of King Cakes, regular and the type you mentioned. It arrived fine every time.
