shared a bottle of Montefalco de Sangrintini when my dad visited me in SF.

We both thought it was the best wine we ever had and it was awesome to share it with my dad.

I had a margarita at the Emperess hotel in Chiang Mai Thailand after a day of jungle hiking, white water rafting and an elephant trek

Best thing I've ever drank.

So I had 6 more to make sure. I'm told they were just as good.

I don't buy expensive wine, so I will never forget when someone paid for a $250 bottle to split at dinner. Nectar of the gods.
The BMC crowd gives me a headache with their penis envy of people who like good beer.

After getting into the craft beer game I can honestly never go back to the horse piss that is bmc but I will never be one of those nerds that hunts for every new release of beer that comes out in LA. I can find plenty of fresh good brews sitting on the shelves at my local spots.

Parrot Bay coconut Rum..First year in Navy. Last I remember drinking was laying in the floor pouring it in my mouth. After that I woke up in piss and ended up working an unexpected 24 hr shift. Other than that was Bahrain...we will leave it at that.

I like craft beer just as much as the next person, but I also don't look down on someone who doesn't care for craft beer and genuinely likes Bud Light. When we go places that has a broad selection it's fun to try new beers. But I'm not some beer snob who absolutely has to drink something that isn't well know just to do it.

Clearly I like Miller Lite, and if I'm outside working or cooking that's what I'm drinking. Holds true to the less filling part.

They're full of shite for overstating their ability to distinguish different beers and for their stance that they're superior to Uncle Ted who drinks Coors no matter what.

Basically I hate beer snobs for the same reason people hate food snobs or music snobs. Usually they aren't the most knowledgeable but want to project that they know and have tasted/heard it all, and they're opinion is better than yours.

And I bet an even longer morning. I learned some valuable lessons doing that kind of shite in high school and into college.

When you are so hungover that the smell of eggs cooking in the morning drives you to run and puke sucks. And then when you are taking a shite later and you puke again will make you start thinking about how those kind of drinking combinations and quantities aren't a good idea.

Great character from a great series.

ETA: Balvenie Scotch. By far my favorite. 12 Year Doublewood as my go-to.

I had a glass of Balvenie 30 once. That...that boys and girls was a life changing experience.

That's exactly it, that most craft beer snobs are full of shite.

Agreed. Budweiser and the like definitely taste like shite, but nobody can tell me that something like Heineken or modelo isn't a damn good beer.

A lot of the craft ales are way too fricking bitter, I don't know how anyone can enjoy it.

That's because for some reason people in the US have a hardon for IPAs.

I fricking hate IPAs. Give me a good Imperial Stout or Saison any day of the week if we're talking craft beer.

I'm not fond of IPA's either. Too bitter and it seems like the hangover effect is worse than with other beers. I never get tired of a cold Fat Tire. I don't drink anymore but before I did that was my go to and I never got tired of it. They started brewing it here in Asheville about six months ago and if you get it straight off the taps at their brewery it is some tasty beer.
