Currently owned by Faith Hill and Tim McGraw. Over 700 acres and 4 residences. Just outside of beautiful historic Franklin, TN.

Time for me to win the lottery. Doesn't get much better than this.

There are worse places. Beautiful country, though I'd get closer to the mountains.

I found out about Franklin, TN about a year ago when I was looking for antique pickup trucks.

They have two restoration shops/show rooms. I was hooked on the place after that.

Still southern enough to have a long growing season. Close to the fun of Nashville and the mountains.

Good people, hard working hard playing folk in most of Tennessee.

I'm pretty sure this has been on the market for at least a year. Times are hard in Music City.

Now that I look at the news article, yes its been a year.

About as long as I've been watching and gawking at property around Franklin, Tn and this just came up on realtor.com within the past few weeks. I also look at Hot Springs (one of the few Arkansas counties that are not dry), Baton Rouge (southeast Louisiana), east Tennessee, and any other places I read about in the news or happen to catch on the odd HGTV-there's-nothing-on-tv-dammit show.

Realtor.com gives a pretty good glimpse into what an area is really like.

Hank Sr. died at 29. Can't imagine building an estate like that so young.

A few of my cousins live out in Franklin, and let me tell ya, the houses out there that are on those vast pieces of country side are incredible.

ETA: Btw, Franklin is only 20-30 or so minutes south of Nashvhille.

If I had $20 million to spend on a residence, a place to get away..I'd personally move more west.

Buy land in Colorado, Wyoming or new Mexico.

my great aunt and uncle are their neighbor. On one side is faith and Tim, the other side is George strait. Obviously not right "next door" in the everyday sense but no house in between them
