I hate when my wife buy a new picture. She always chases me around the house with it and a hammer.

Yes, hanging gutters, digging trenches for a gutter drain under a sidewalk, digging out new flowerbeds, sanding and painting a deck, running speaker wire through an attic, pulling out insulation from under your house, running wire under your house, etc.

I've done all those things this year along with hanging the pictures in our new home and I'll take the pictures everytime.

ETA: Wait.... why the frick was this bumped from from four years ago?

Dude, while hanging pictures is boring, it's so easy to do.

Maybe not. It's taken him four years to get this done.

She already knows that nothing is hung to her satisfaction in y’all’s house.

And she feels like that’s the worst thing in the world.

No. You show her it's straight with a level or even a marble.

When she still insists it's crooked tell her to do it herself then go get her eyes checked.

Pictures? Is that all??

Try hanging large paintings. Good news is wife sold the expensive (up to $50K each) pieces and kept under $1K pieces that she inherited. Her mother had almost no paint showing on her walls and a few on ceilings.
