Would love to hear from the OT baws & ballers what they have tucked away for home defense. Some folks swear by the shotgun, others prefer the pistol in its various forms, but what says the OT?

I have a shotgun that the wife can use if I'm not there. Of course, that's assuming my security team at the perimeter of the compound doesn't eliminate the threat first.

To surprise the burglar, I prefer a bow and arrow.

Home alarm system and a Doberman at the foot of my bed. If anyone is stupid enough to still be in the house

Remington 870

Just the sound of racking that thing will send chills down anyone's spine plus you get a nice spray pattern for runners.

The reality is a pump action shot gun is the best home defense weapon. VERY few people are goig to advance once they hear the pump action, meaning you probably won't even have to shoot, which is the absolute best result.

Relying on the racking of a shotgun assumes your intruder is rational and not under the influence of drugs and further that he doesn’t have his own gun ready to shoot in the direction of the first sound he hears. You should avoid giving an intruder any warning whatsoever.

Gun sat in hurricane Rita's water for 2 days and still works perfectly fine!
