Guide this fat boy on running

I haven't done any cardio besides recreational sports in the last few years. I do squats, deadlifts, and I move heavy stuff around, always have.
Downloaded Couch to 5k, bought some clothing to keep my manhood and man tits from flopping about.
Did the first week last week, and after the first "run", my ankles were sore. The next day I had sore quads.
Did the second run on wednesday, was very sore when I started, but went further and felt loose at the end.
Friday I went to run, and the muscles on the sides of my shins were killing me.
What gives?
Do I just run through it, or is there something else that I should be doing?
Pace is a little less than 14.5 minute pace for two miles. A slow jog average.
I'm running on a packed limestone path.
Edited to be clear. Not 14.5 for two miles. A 14.5 minute pace.

how old are your shoes? are they running shoes?
Did you get your feet fitted for arch support and cushion need?

How new are your shoes? Old shoes can really make me feel sore. Also you run two miles in 14.5 minutes? That is not bad if you have only been back at it for a week.

Wait.
You're running 7:15 miles?

7.25 min/mile pace for two miles is a pretty good pace for someone who is out of shape. I'm skeptical.

You need to get fitted for the right running shoe for your strides. Go to a running shop and have them do a gait analysis. The running pros will know which shoes are right for your stride.
With that said, invest in good running shoes. I love the Brooks Ghosts because they've eliminated a lot of the arch pain that I used to experience.
I started where you are. I've run five half marathons and one full. The Couch to 5K was where I started. I couldn't even run a half mile when I started running.
I hope that this helps.

So two miles took you 29 minutes? If that's the case, running sucks until you get better at it. Just keep doing it and it comes.

My advice, don't wear a cotton shirt unless you bandaid your nips

Start slower. Like half a mile at first

I was about to say that your are probably going to hard if you are doing 7.25 miles your first week back. No wonder you hurt.
Being fitted for shoes can help.
