This thread is like watching a couple of one-legged drunks in a butt-kicking contest

Gretna is closer to downtown new orleans. You have to sit in traffic on i10 if you wanna get out of lolmetairie. I dont live in either. I work in metairie and its a shithole. I wish i could work in gretna where theres less traffic, asian mistresses, vietnamese food and linch break rubntugs

I work in Gretna and live in Lakeview. I have not found an asian mistress (over here) or a lunch rub and tug place yet.

I LOVE vietnamese food but it does eventually get old when that's the only decent option.

Metairie has old metairie and thats about it. The rest of the city is a giant armpit.

Ive lived in lake view most of my life. Moved to Metairie just before Katrina

Metairie below causeway from the lake to airline is like living in the city without having to deal with New Orleans.

Water bill is less than half

Entergy is about 35% less.

Taxes Marginally less but City Services are light years better.

The average new build in this area is in excess off 550K.

Gretna is closer to Venice for fishing .....Thats all I got.

Just moved to the 16th floor of 200 Carondolet actually... Didn't really want to, but didn't feel like moving more than a block and was tired of the construction outside my window on Baronne
