I'm a known and absolutely devout Metairie hater (understatement), but Metry does have some decent places.
Equator, Pho Orchid, Chateau Du Lac, Vega Tapas, Martin's Wine Cellar, Legacy, Royal China, R&O's, New Orleans Food and Spirits, Shogun.
Those are all pretty good options.
