Sounds like JBE wants that ring kissed.

Really don't need a big hoopla with that idiot coming in to do nothing but expend state resources blocking off traffic amidst all of this.

Like JBE said, if he's going to lay down 500 k - 1 mill cash, then come on down.

If he;s just going to walk around with that fricking hairdo, no.

I'd say that any publicity is good, but about the last publicity I think you want in Trump.

JBE is right, as usual.

frick the governor, what has JBE done for the flood victims besides signing some documents? Don't get me wrong he plays a major part in getting relief into the state. Has he gave money yet, helped gut out homes?

Even if it is only a photo op, it still brings awareness and more donations and assistance.

Trump doesn't need to do this, LA will go Red like the rest of the South and he will get its electoral votes whether he goes or not.

And after he does go he will talk about it over and over to anyone with a microphone and a camera, again, bringing more national attention.... something a lot of posters have commented on there not being enough of.

More than that, he's showing he cares about his fellow Americans, something the president is supposed to do.

He brings press and attention, something we need to ensure that adequate resources are allocated.. This disaster is one that needs to be seen, in person to truly see the destruction and despair many people face.. He's not the president and doesnt require the same attention from a resources standpoint, so whatever he does is a plus

I didn't realize that he would have to ask for permission, or let JBE know. Last I heard if you are a citizen then you are pretty much free to move about the country. Pretty shitty of our retarded gov to try and basically extort money from him just bc he has it. Did Hildawg have to ask for permission to come? Hell she has the Clinton Foundation. This should be right up their alley. Lets see if it will donate anything.

Well, Larry from El Paso coming to Baton Rouge is a bit different than presidential nominees coming in and requiring extra security from am already stretched thin police force. Roads being closed down when traffic is already nightmare in its current state, etc. See where I'm going with this? Same goes for Obama. A simple press conference would be fine.

Crappy statement. He wouldn't have asked Hillary for money. I'm
not big on either of them, but this isn't a time to piss anyone off. Idiot move.
