Next Friday, based on how things went this year expecting in the 5% of salary range, a really good year is 15%.

And next payroll check will be smaller because they have to take taxes out....at least that's what my former employer would do.

Nope, unemployed as of last month but we did finally sell our lot on Fish River and that's closing today if that counts.

More than we get, No Christmas bonus but we do get an annual bonus at the end of the first quarter next year for the companies performance this year. Wish they could shuffle that around a little.

Nah. Quarterly bonuses plus a Christmas bonus is where it's at.

I haven't gotten a Christmas bonus in 4 years. It's funny, the same excuse of "we had a bad year" is always given, yet the owners seem to be doing well enough to purchase second homes and run kids through expensive private college.

I don't mind not getting a bonus, just don't insult my intelligence by saying "we had a bad year" when all objective evidence suggests otherwise. Hell, I'd respect them more if they just said "there are no bonuses because we didn't want to give a little bit of our profit to the employees in the form of a small bonus." At least that would be honest.

got mine last week. It amounts to one extra paycheck so I have no complaints.

nice.

I have never gotten a christmas bonus in my life. in 20 years of professional work, just never happened. 4 employers too. I did get a cake once, and a ham once.

I do get quarterly bonuses, which are anywhere from 15% to 125% of my income for that quarter. One should roll in on Jan 15 or jan 31st, I suspect it will be about 30% of my pay for the quarter.
