Dicks, and other retailers like Dicks, fudge their computers. Get in front of a Trackman and tell me what it is then.

I'm probably in the 80s. If I don't go slow I go right.

You know damn well you came out your shoes on the radar gun and didn't take your actual golf swing

frick, I can register 130 mph on that thing but my actual swing speed is usually around 100 mph

I actually made an effort to not overswing

Where can I find a Trackman setup to get the good data?

I'll even come back here and post my stats

Distance is moe than just swing speed.

ain't dat da truff.

I can swing a driver 120+ if i wanted to, and i could make decent contact most of the time, but i'm still not going to blast the few shots i do hit straight over 300 everytime. They still only go about 270-280 most of the time, with a few going farther.

I find when i try to stay balanced and have a nice smooth and easy swing, which is probably in the 105 range, i will hit my drives with much more consistency and accuracy and they will still go in that 250-270 range.

I think I was 127 and my buddy 124 at the Zurich one year. We were both swinging as hard as we could. That was 10+ years ago and it was the Compaq classic

I couldn't tell you, but I know it's on the slower end.

That being said, I'm a scratch golfer who doesn't hit the ball very far. I'm satisfied where I am distance isn't everything...

That chart is with optimal spin rate and I'm assuming (based on that and launch angle) a good angle of attack.

This guy is a "12" and "hasn't played in a decade". Your telling me, even if swinging at 111, this his spin, launch, and angle of attack are optimal? Not a chance.
